Dave served in the US Marine Corps September 1961 - September 1964. He was a non-commissioned officer (E4) when he was honorably discharged. He maintained inactive status until Sept '67.
Dave McHollan sat right behind me in Mrs. Lill's 6th Grade Class. In my autograph book that June he wrote, "Don't go down it the dumps when you get an 80 on a test." He had seen me do that more than I'd care to admit, but his upbeat attitude usually pulled me right out of a funk.
David and I grew up together on the same block. We played a lot of kick ball in our court and I always remember the good times we had. He used to ride me home on his bike from elementary school.

May he rest in peace.
