Ken Kaprelian was a very close friend of Hans and provided us with some information about what happened to him:

On December 22, 1968, Hans, who had been living in Boston at the time, died in a car accident in St. Louis. His body was brought back for the burial. The tragedy was very difficult for everyone then. Hans had a daughter, Tara, who is Ken’s god daughter. She is now married, has 2 sons, and is living in Boston. Hans’s widow returned there after his death and has since re-married.
