SCHWARTZ , Edward Richard, 69, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Flanders and Flemington, NJ, died February 26, 2012. He was raised in Fair Lawn, NJ and was the loving son of Bertha and Irving Schwartz. He moved to Raleigh, NC in 2004.

Mr. Schwartz worked for many years as a marketing director for New Jersey Bell. After retirement, he pursued his passion and created a successful antique business with his loving wife. He enjoyed many new hobbies in his retirement including golf and poker. But, most of all, he enjoyed the new friends he made while pursuing these activities.

He is survived by his wife, Teri, of 45 years; his daughter, Debbie Pellegrini and her husband Jim of Cary, NC; his son, Howard, and his wife, Michele of Kalamazoo, MI; his brother, Alan, and his wife, Valerie of Connecticut.

Edward was the loving grandfather of Emily, Courtney, Marissa, Noah and Zachary.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 1 PM at Congregation B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Midland Ave., Saddle Brook, NJ. Arrangements will be made by Robert Schoem Menorah Chapel, Paramus, NJ (201)843-9090.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
